Travel Grants

The International Society of Nephrology are pleased to offer a Travel Grants Program for ISN members to attend the ISN Nexus Symposium 2014 “New era of drug discovery and clinical trials in kidney disease”.
The Travel Grant will consist of a reimbursement of travel cost up to a certain amount (see below), include registration to the Symposium and cover a maximum of 3 nights accommodation at a hotel selected by the organizers on the basis of sharing a room.
The Symposium will offer a maximum contribution towards the travel costs to Bergamo based on economy class travel, first class train tickets and appropriate ground transportation. The available funding, if booked early, will be enough to cover the full travel expenses. Travel Grants recipients are encouraged to book early ONCE ACCEPTED and to not leave booking to the last minute.

A maximum reimbursement up to 850 EUR |

A maximum reimbursement up to 1.000 EUR |

A maximum reimbursement up to 500 EUR |
Reimbursement will be after the Symposium in return for completed expense claim forms and copies of invoices/tickets/boarding passes. Completed expense claims have to be handed over at the registration desk of the Symposium at the latest.
Important Information :
DON’T REGISTER FOR EARLY BIRD RATE if you are submitting a Travel Grant Application!
Should your Travel Grant application be unsuccessful, you will still be eligible to register at the early bird rate after the results are announced.
The travel grants are restricted to ISN members and SRC participants, priority is given to nephrologists who apply from countries with low and middle economies (as per World Bank criteria). Priority will be given to ISN members from developing countries with an abstract accepted.
No more than 3 travel grants can ever be allocated to any one individual. Therefore please note that applicants who have already benefited from 3 ISN travel grants to attend an ISN meeting in the past will not be eligible for this round.
