The organizers are pleased to invite you to submit abstracts to be considered for poster presentation at the ISN Nexus Symposium on “New era of drug discovery and clinical trials in kidney disease” to be held in Bergamo, Italy from 3 – 6 April 2014.

SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS
All submitted abstracts should concern all aspects of nephrology, the treatment of renal disease, the scientific background to the study of the kidney, new drug discovery or clinical trials related to kidney disease.

NOTIFICATION
The Presenting Author of the abstract accepted will be notified by 17 January 2014 and will be required to register to the Symposium. The abstract submitters of accepted abstracts are entitled to register at the discounted registration fees provided they register by the early bird deadline. If the Presenting Author is unable to present the abstract, another Co-Author can take his/her place as long as he or she is duly registered to the Symposium. A letter from the Presenting Author informing about the change is requested and must be sent to the Symposium Secretariat by no later than 03 March 2014.

ABSTRACT PUBLICATION
Accepted abstracts will be printed in the book of abstracts that will be distributed as part of the Symposium material on site and they will be published online on the Symposium and ISN website.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE
The abstract submission deadline is January 6 2014 (23.59 CET)
Abstracts received after the deadline will not be accepted.
WITHDRAWAL/CHANGES
Submitted abstracts CANNOT be withdrawn or changed. No exceptions will be made. Should you need to amend an abstract after final submission but before the deadline, please contact the events team via

ORIGINAL ABSTRACTS
Submitted abstracts must describe unpublished work which is not already in press and which is not awaiting possible acceptance by any other society or event.
